The inorganic GEOPOL® technology was tested in the foundry on a mobile continuous mixer Spartan 305P from Omega, which company SAND TEAM lends for tests. The technology was first tested here on 25 February 2020 and replaced the original technology based on alkaline-phenolic resin, which was not suitable for the foundry due to the impact on the environment and the health of employees. As soon as the foundry management was convinced that it was possible to produce the entire range (molds and cores) using GEOPOL® technology, they anchored the technology in their production process. Since 11 March 2020, the foundry has been operating only GEOPOL® technology on its continuous mixer.
