CALIBRATION OF INSTRUMENTS
On the basis of Registration Certificate No. 600-RO-0768/99, issued by CMI BRNO, the company SAND TEAM may provide the repair, installation and calibration services of test and measurement instruments designed to control the technological properties of moulding materials in the foundry industry.
The measuring instruments and company standards are traceable to national standards through CMI Brno.
Registered organizations comply with the relevant provisions of Metrology Act No. 505/1990 Coll. and carry out the repair of meters in accordance with CSN and the related metrology regulations.
MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT OF INSTRUMENTS
An integral part of the proper function of instruments is their maintenance and adjustment. This constitutes the putting of the instrument into the functionally correct state, including any functional replacement of consumable parts.
The time after which it is necessary to perform maintenance and adjustment depends on the load of the instruments and the quality of the environment in which they are located. The interval recommended by the manufacturer is 12 months.
The maintenance and adjustment of instruments must always precede their calibration.
REPAIR OF INSTRUMENTS
We repair all types of instruments found in the sand laboratories of our foundries. We seek a technical and economic compromise when returning equipment to its original working condition.
In the case of very widespread Polish instruments, we provide economically attractive repair by the replacement method, which is focused mainly on older, often dysfunctional instruments, where the customer receives a new instrument directly from the manufacturer for its instrument.
CONSULTING AND TRAINING ACTIVITY
This activity consists in consultations aimed at the optimal use of measuring instruments in compliance with the procedures and methodologies.
We provide the training of sand laboratory technicians, which is both economical and very effective in application, directly in the customer’s laboratory.
The company SAND TEAM has sales offices including the authorized service for the Czech and Slovak Republic for the Polish manufacturer of laboratory instruments MULTISERW – MOREK with a long tradition on our market.
