High performance devices which serve for the drying of quartz sand of the grain size from 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm to a final moisture of a max. of 0.3 %. Their big advantage is the simultaneous cooling of the dried sand to a temperature of about 10 °C to 15°C above ambient temperature. These devices feature low operating costs.
